Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Arabio.

Your account: you must be 18 or older (members who joined before October 2026 keep their accounts), give your real birth date, your gender and accurate information, and keep your password safe. Once saved, your birth date and gender can’t be changed in the app — if one is wrong, use Request a change in Edit profile. One person, one account.

Keeping your account secure: we recommend turning on 2-step sign-in. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe — without your authenticator app or a recovery code, we may not be able to give you back your account.

Your content: you own what you post. You give Arabio a license to host, display and distribute it inside the app so the service can work. You’re responsible for what you post and must have the right to post it.

Community rules: you must follow the Community Guidelines. There’s no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members — we may remove content or suspend accounts that break them.

Reels: reels are short videos (up to 60 seconds). The same rules apply as for posts. Arabio doesn’t provide a music library, so any music, sound or clip in your reel must be yours or something you have permission to use. We may limit how many reels you upload a day, and we remove reels that break these terms or the Community Guidelines, or that are the subject of a valid copyright notice.

Copyright: if you believe something on Arabio infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent (contact details on app.arabio.io) that identifies the work, the content and where it is, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized, a statement that your notice is accurate under penalty of perjury, and your signature. We remove content when we receive a valid notice, let the member who posted it send a counter-notice, and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Marketplace, jobs, housing and services — who’s responsible: listings are between members. Arabio isn’t a party to any sale, rental, job or service: we don’t handle payment, delivery or returns, and we don’t inspect, guarantee or vouch for any item, seller or buyer. Sellers must describe things honestly with photos they have the right to use and follow the law, including fair-housing and equal-employment laws (no discriminatory housing or job ads). Buyers are responsible for checking the item and the seller before paying.

Marketplace — not allowed: weapons, firearms, ammunition, gun parts, explosives and fireworks; illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription medicines and medical devices that need a prescription; alcohol, tobacco, vapes and cannabis products (we can’t check a buyer’s age, so these aren’t allowed at all); counterfeit, stolen or replica goods and fake documents or IDs; live animals; adult or sexual products and services; items recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission or another agency, and unsafe baby products; financial scams — loans, “investments”, crypto or get-rich offers, pyramid schemes, and anything asking for payment by gift card or wire transfer; personal data, accounts or digital subscriptions; and immigration or legal services from anyone not licensed to give them (for example “notario” services). We remove these listings and may suspend the account.

Meeting safely: meet in a busy public place in daylight (many police stations offer a safe spot for exchanges) and bring someone with you. Check the item before you pay. Never pay in advance, by gift card or wire transfer, or to someone you haven’t met, and never share a code sent to your phone. If a deal sounds too good to be true, report the listing.

Events — hosts: the host is responsible for their event — accurate details (date, time, place and price), the venue, any permits, and keeping guests safe. Arabio doesn’t organize, run, inspect or endorse events.

Events — tickets: an Arabio ticket reserves your place at an event. Tickets are free or “pay at the door”: Arabio doesn’t take payment for tickets, and anything you pay goes directly to the host at the event, on the host’s terms. The host sets how many tickets there are. A ticket doesn’t guarantee entry if the host changes or cancels the event. Don’t resell your ticket or share its code.

Events — cancellations and refunds: are between the host and the attendee. Hosts should state their refund policy in the event details and tell guests promptly if the event changes or is cancelled. Because Arabio never holds ticket money, we can’t give refunds. If you can’t go, please cancel your ticket so someone else can have the place.

Events — check-in: each ticket has a QR code and a written code. The host scans or types it at the door, which records that the ticket was used and when.

Paid features (future): Arabio is free, and nothing in it is for sale today. We may offer optional paid features later (for example a Premium membership). If we do, we’ll add their terms here first and show the price before you buy. Purchases in the iPhone or Android app will go through Apple or Google and follow their payment and refund rules.

The service: we work hard to keep Arabio available and safe, but it is provided “as is”. We may change features over time.

Changes to these terms: when we change them, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes.

Ending: you can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Contact: send questions about these terms from Help & support › Contact support in the app (logged out: “Need help?” on the log-in screen) or to support@arabio.io.
